As anyone can imagine, when somebody is talking about his or her visit to Tokyo, the very first thing comes to our mind is that a developed urbanized city with innovative features. Without a proper drainage system, Tokyo is prone to major flood events when heavy rains or a Typhoon hits. Moreover, Tokyo is no stranger to major floods. A typhoon in 1910 left the Tokyo city underwater with a result devastating 4.2% loss of nation’s GDP.
